Beck family European vacation
For years we had been talking about, and saving for, a trip to Europe for our
20th anniversary. We thought that 14 & 11 would be good ages for the kids
for this sort of thing, and Charis & Luke proved us right. We planned
a stop in DC on the way to break up the jet-lag and visit Stacy & clan.
Getting to see several family members in DC, then Alison & Molly plus a
couple of other friends in London, took a trip that was fantastic to begin
with, and made it extra sweet. We also had quite good luck with the weather;
even London gave us some sunny mornings and afternoons.
We took over 1000 pictures on the trip; 700 of them are viewable via photo
journals for each day, the links for which are below, with 30 of the best
pictures also shown in-line here. Each "thumbnail" here (and on each of the
photo journal pages) is a ⅛×⅛ miniature; clicking on any of
them will take you to a page with just that picture at ½×½
size, and clicking on that will take you to the full-sized picture.
Feel free to download any of these pictures and use them as
screen-savers or print them out, or whatever you like, including uploading to
Facebook or other photo-sharing sites. But please do NOT
post the URL for this or any other beck.org web page, as we don't want Facebook
or Google or any other random bunch of people that we don't know trolling
around our web site. If you don't understand the difference between posting
a picture and posting a URL, call us and Charis will explain it to you.
